Sixteen yeas ago, Yogi
Bhajan personally requested that Darshan Kaur Khalsa
begin to train teachers. Yogi Bhajan said of Darshan
Kaur, "She came here as a teacher-- to elevate people.
She has a powerful prayer to bring out the God in
everyone." She is KRI certified as a senior teacher and
is a lead Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer of Level 1 & 2
certification programs. She has been the lead trainer
for 13 Level one trainings in Northern Virginia. Darshan
Kaur Khalsa has been teaching Kundalini Yoga, as taught
by Yogi Bhajan, for 36 years in the greater Washington
area. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the
500 hour level and has taught over 16,000 hours of yoga
classes since 1973. Darshan Kaur is on the faculty of
Northern Virginia Community College and has been
teaching classes of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for
over twenty years. |
