Hari Kirn Kaur

 

Hari Kirn has been a professional artist since finishing her BFA at Hartford Art School in 1976. Her twenties were spent between NY, at the School of Visual Arts or Columbia University, and Hartford, CT, where she participated in Real Art Ways. During this time she met her spiritual mentor, Mahan Tantric, Yogi Bhajan. In 1986 she moved to Cambridge MA to pursue her interest in art, healing and spirituality. In 1988 She received an MA in Creative Arts Therapies from Lesley University. At Lesley she was deeply influenced by psychologist James Hillman and writer Thomas Moore’s ideas about images. She began exploring these ideas in her painting, collaborative group performances, and therapeutic art events. She returned to graduate school and received an MFA degree from Vermont College in 2001. Her first book, Art & Yoga: Awakening Kundalini in Daily Life, was released June 2011.

 


 

 

Shanti Shanti Kaur

 

Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa, PhD is founder and director of the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine & Humanology. A yoga instructor since 1971, she began to specialize in teaching Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to people with chronic or life threatening illness and their family members in 1986, under the direction of Yogi Bhajan. The Center provides direct client services and yogically based programs for people with diabetes, cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, HIV, anxiety, depression and life transitions. We offer professional training and conduct outcome studies on the medical effects of yoga practice. Dr. Khalsa is a RYT 500, a KRI Certified yoga teacher trainer and a charter member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She provides training to health professionals and yoga instructors on the application of yoga and meditation to the spiritual, psychological and behavioral aspects of getting and staying well.

 


 

 

Tarn Taran Singh

 

Tarn Taran Singh Khalsa became student of Yogi Bhajan 1972. Teaching, training teachers and practicing Kundalini Yoga over 30 years in USA, Europe and Latin America. Founded 3HO Germany, European Yogi Tea Company and first European Teacher Training program. Currently living in New Mexico working for KRI as International Coordinator of Trainers and Aquarian Teacher Program Director.


Authored a series of Mantra CD’s which include Mantras of Prayer, and Ik Ardas

 

 


 

 

Gurucharan Singh

 

Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, Ph.D., LPCC, is a leading Trainer in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and has helped to compile and elucidate Yogi Bhajan’s teachings since 1969. Gurucharan Singh combines Western scientific training with Eastern traditions to develop practical approaches to personal growth and fulfillment. His first degrees and graduate studies were from Harvey Mudd College and Claremont Graduate School. His major emphasis was in mathematics, with a broad training in physics, chemistry, engineering and a minor in psychology. Later Gurucharan Singh earned both an M.Ed. at Boston University and a Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis on research in meditation and clinical counseling. He has a keen understanding of Humanology, the psychology of personal excellence developed by Yogi Bhajan, and has used it in clinical practice for three decades as well as developed trainings in Humanology for therapists and healers.

 

 

 


 

 

Nirvair Singh

 

Nirvair Singh Khalsa began studying with Yogi Bhajan in 1971. He is a retired University Instructor at the University of Alaska Anchorage where he taught classes in Kundalini Yoga for 31 years. He has authored nineteen best selling DVD's/Videos and four books on Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. (http://www.kundaliniyoga.net) He has also taught classes, workshops and trainings throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. Currently he is the CEO and President of The Kundalini Research Institute. He is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 certified teacher trainer. He lives with his wife of 40 years, Nirvair Kaur, in Tesuque New Mexico.
